Welcoming a new baby always give a full meaning for your family. There are many things that you will require to do to prepare for this cute angel. It’s not easy to taking care of new born baby to toddler ages. It’s mean you need an essential baby gear to make your job easier.

Now in the market available a lot of baby gears that offer more interest in caring for babies. But, not all of baby gears are essential. Usually, baby gear is not cheap, so you have to get the perfect products that you need for your baby and avoids buying the unnecessary items.

The most important baby gears are baby clothes, baby cribs and baby strollers. And if you are busy parents, baby stroller is very helpful baby gear.

Strollers are definitely found in a very big variety of shapes, size, features and benefits. When decide on your perfect baby stroller as one of baby gear, first, you have to think about the type of baby stroller you want. Make sure to choose the good one that fit for you and really tough to maneuver.

Basically, there are several baby stroller types and each type is designed to meet the specific needs that different parents have.

Daily Strollers

Standard Strollers – Standard strollers are durable gear with a sturdy frame. Most standard strollers feature fully reclining seats, which allows them to be suitable for use from infant to toddler. When they are used on smooth surfaces like mall floors and sidewalks, standard strollers are easy to push and steer.

Umbrella Strollers – These strollers are extremely lightweight and very convenient for traveling. Most umbrella strollers fold easily but on the hard terrain, the ride tends to be a touch harsh. Usually, an umbrella stroller gives a very reasonable price.

Lightweight Strollers – Lightweight strollers are great for traveling, easy to carry, easy to maneuver, and they are easy to pack and store away when not used. Lightweight strollers are also less expensive than most other stroller types.

Active Strollers

All-Terrain Strollers – All-terrain strollers are heavy duty. An all-terrain stroller with 3-wheel that is easier to steer

Jeep Liberty Limited 3 Wheel All Terrain Stroller

and maneuver than a jogging stroller is. Parents who need one stroller that can be used in outdoor situations as well as in malls and other shops should choose these All-terrain strollers. Another benefit: they’re capable of handling heavier cargo which makes All-terrain strollers ideal for ‘larger’ babies.

Jogging strollers – A jogging stroller is a lightweight stroller, a three-wheeled gear with large, air-inflated tires for serious joggers and runners. These strollers have extra long handles which positions the stroller a little further in front of the runner so jogging legs have plenty space to run and not be limited by the stroller frame.

Combo Strollers – combo strollers are a stroller and carriage all in one. A combo stroller consists of a toddler stroller base and a coordinating infant bassinet, so your baby can lay flat in either a car seat or bassinet. These strollers tend to get rather expensive, but you get plenty of choices such as extra storage space for added baby gear and generous canopies for protection from the sun and rain, extra seat padding and cup holders.

Travel System Strollers – travel system can be the most practical stroller option for parents when traveling with a newborn. A travel system includes a compatible infant car seat and a toddler stroller in one system. Their car seat can simply raise off from the strollers and than snap it into the car’s safety belt system. It’s an extremely convenient stroller for traveling!

Multi-child strollers

Multi-child Strollers are built for transporting twins, triplets (two or three children of similar ages) and even quadruplets and quintuplets. These strollers are available in standard stroller, umbrella stroller and jogging stroller types.

There are many baby strollers as an essential choice to work with your active lifestyle. You only have to find the suitable baby stroller to enhance your individual preference and baby transportation needs.

Tiny Love Grip and Grasp Stroller Toy

Go shopping or walking around park with our baby in stroller is fun time. But usually, when we put the baby in the stroller for long periods, they will get bored soon and start to whimper. For this reason, we need some stroller accessory to make our baby busy and happy in their baby stroller.

Every baby has curious individuals’ willing to learn and often require new, exciting and interesting equipment to keep them busy. Before you looking for stroller accessories or baby stroller toys to keep your baby busy and happy in the stroller, you may read these important tips below:

Colors and Texture – Babies love something bright, interesting and eye catching materials. Babies also love to learn

Stroller/Carseat Accesory - Tiny Love Sunny Stroll Arch in Yellow

something. So, you have to find some toys that will make your baby learning with pleasure. Also, give them something that has texture to touch.

Sounds and Lights – Stroller accessory that send out sounds and lights will be more charming and interesting to a baby. These toys usually have a tendency to hold a baby’s attention for longer.

Attachable – You can help the baby to keep their intentionally on their toys that attach to the stroller in some way. You need to attach the toys as a stroller accessory, so your baby easy to reach, touch and play it but not easy to fall on the floor while you busy to shopping.

Action-Reaction – A baby will do something to the toys and will be more engaging than do nothing when he has a stroller accessory that entertaining. He will easily get bored of a toy if there is nothing interactive on it. If possible, to provide your baby for longer lasting entertainment, stroller accessory must have some sort of activity component. For example, you can choose the toys with lots of buttons to press, a steering wheel to spin, cloth books or board books with pages to turn and so on.

Suitable for Their Ages – Find something that suitable for the ages of babies. For very young babies, a musical mobile attach on the stroller might be enough to entertain them until they fall asleep. For older babies will be love to learning an interactive toys and the like. Also look the suitable accessory for baby boy or girl.

Variety – It is a great idea to keep several toys or stroller accessories hidden in the baby bag, if you will be shopping for long periods. So, as soon as baby gets bored with the current toy, you can switch it with another one.

Safety - Keep all small part of stroller accessories away from the baby. Finally, even your baby is busy with his/her toys; don’t leave your baby more than a foot away – unattended in a stroller.

Baby Stroller Safety to Avoid Stroller Incident

You must heard about the 6 month old baby who miraculously survived being hit by a train after his stroller rolled off the platform in Melbourne, Australia on October 15, 2009.

The baby’s mother was temporarily distracted by an oncoming train as she waited on an elevated train platform. Her baby son’s stroller rolled off the platform and onto the tracks just as the train ran over it. This video shows the mother desperately reaching for her baby and nearly being hit by the train herself. She then screams hysterically as onlookers walk away in shock.

It’s make us shock and aware about baby stroller safety. Baby Stroller Safety is very, very, very important! Don’t make it easy! To avoid the incident, I only can suggest to make sure to check the brakes holding when applied and working properly.

And don’t leave your child unattended in a stroller. This doesn’t mean you have to be no more than a foot away at all times. Just be sure that either you or another responsible adult (not child) is within easy reach at all times.

Do you remember the article that I posted “The Taga” ? Here the new design from Dutch which get from Bicycle Mechanic. Or you can go to Taga.

The New Taga

Is it a bicycle? Or is it a baby stroller? Or is it an expensive death trap for your toddler?

The Dutch sure do love their bicycles, so its really not surprising a designer from the Netherlands has come up with hybrid bicycle-baby-stroller. Its not the first of its kind… but its one of the more stylish. (Technically its a tricycle-baby-stroller, but whatever.)

“If you come to a situation where you don’t want to cycle or you’re not allowed to cycle, at the subway or in a supermarket, in less than 20 seconds you can convert it into a stroller,” says Jeroen de Schaaf, Taga’s European manager. The company is hoping to launch the Taga in North America this summer.

Bicycle - Baby Stroller

So far the Dutch manufacturer has won three European design awards for its coveted bicycle-buggy concoction and is being wildly endorsed by parenting blogs online (freaking yuppies jumping on the latest bandwagon). It sells in Britain for £1,695 (over $3000 CDN).

Its not lightweight however, clocking in at 64 pounds despite Taga’s aluminium alloy-frame Taga. That is roughly three times heavier than an average bicycle, so I guess the yuppies will be getting a workout pushing this thing everywhere.

Safety while Sleeping

Consider that cribs must meet federal and ASTM standards. The mattress has to fits snugly into the crib; the distance between the slats is no more than 2-3/8 inches and the side rail is at least 26 inches from the mattress.

A baby monitor is the best devices invented for parents that will give you such composure because it allow you to hear or see your baby in your baby’s room from anywhere in your house.

Make sure they sleep do not use pillows, blanket or loose toys, as these can easily cover your baby’s face, resulting in possible breathing difficulties.

Digital Nursery Room Grobag Egg Thermometer Light

Make sure that your baby‘s room in an appropriate temperature. There are a variety of baby thermometers offered which clearly show the optimum temperature for your baby’s nursery. Don’t use polyester sheets, if the room is quite warm. Also make sure that you have plenty of warm slick suits or rompers, and take care that your new baby’s head is always covered in case the temperature drops too low.

Safety while go on the Road

Car seat is vital baby safety products and it is must have product to purchase this before your baby born. Then make sure your car seat is installed properly and it meets safety guidelines.

Your best bet is to buy a brand new car seat. If you buy a used car seat, make sure you know the history of car seat; is that has been involved in a crash or has structurally broken. Double check that the car seat you buy is up-to-date. The baby should ride in a rear-facing seat until they are over one year old or at least 20 ponds, when they can be switched to a forward facing seat.

Safety in their activity

While your baby grows, you will need a number of baby safety products to help protect your baby from the various dangers. They always want to explore and touch or grab everything in sight. Baby gates will keep your babies safe in a large enough to support them to explore, but confined enough to keep them safe.

You also need baby safety product such as door stoppers, fireguards, electrical output plugs, and the like.

If you have decided to bottle feed, Use BPA-free plastic bottles. Much better use glass bottles: Canada has banned the use of plastic bottles due the possible content of Bisphenol A (BPA) in polycarbonate bottles, and many environmental organizations are suggesting that other countries should do the same due to its possible adverse effect on the endocrine system, responsible for the regulation of hormones in the body.

You will also need to make sure that you have a way of sterilizing the bottles, and it may well be advisable to practice sterilizing and making up the bottles of milk.

By Yenie Swandari

The Inglesina Zippy stroller should be the first in your list if you are looking for a lightweight stroller and fully functional, that is easy to transport while on the move. For most busy parents it will be the best pick from today’s market because of the unique features offered on this Inglesina Baby Stroller.

Inglesina Zippy Stroller

This Inglesina Baby stroller type is the ideal stroller to ease the everyday life of parents: extremely convenient to open and fold with the exclusive one-hand-folding-system, it is equipped with ergonomic handles and pivoting wheels for an easier handling.

The Inglesina Zippy baby stroller have structure and the padding that are designed right to support perfectly the back and assure the maximum well-being of the baby 6-36 months old, both when lying and when seated.

They focus on only the best features and every feature included is fully functional and serves a useful function. Some of these features are actually accessories that other stroller manufacturers charge extra for, such as a rain cover, accessible cup holder for the parent, and a nice sized snack tray.

The most impressive features on the Zippy from Inglesina Baby stroller that other brands don’t have it is the canopy fully protects the baby by pulling all the way down past the snack tray for complete protection from any outside elements that may be encountered. And the leg cover completes this protection, can easily be folded up when not needed.

The front wheels of this Inglesina baby stroller have a swivel design, but can be locked into place to sturdy the frame when going through less stable terrain. It is super-compact baby stroller with its 101 cm of height in fold position. It also includes a carry handle for easy carrying while folded down and a footplate on the back where older children can stand and ride along.

Zippy is ideal for all the four seasons, because it is equipped with all standard supplied accessories (umbrella, winter sleeping-bag and sun canopy) with the exclusive “Easy Clip” system that allows attaching the Zippy body and car seat Huggy directly, transforming itself into Zippy System. Sorry to say, Inglesina Zippy stroller will only work with Inglesina Huggy car seat and Graco car seats. But this will likely not be a problem for most parents who already use Graco seats anyway.

The Inglesina Zippy Baby Stroller is a comfortable stroller and a practical and modular system, which is particularly suitable for parents who need a compact solution that rich in details, fabrics and accessories.

Product Reviews

By M. Rappard, I own a Sport Phil and Ted’s stroller and wasn’t very pleased with their cup holder option. I saw Bob’s and decided to give it a try. I am happy to say that it has worked great. Phil and Ted’s stroller has several handle angle options and although at some angles it is difficult to maneuver a water bottle in and out, overall it works wonderfully. Also, because Bob’s cup holder is Velcro, you can adjust the straps to make the cup holder level no matter what angle you have the handlebar at.

By M. Bock, I bought this console for my Phil and Ted’s E3 Stroller and love it! It’s given me the extra space I neeed (for drinks, cell phone, snacks) and is not bulky in any way. I’m able to leave it on when I fold the stroller, and it stays in place! Highly recommend for jogging strollers!

Don’t Buy a Double Jogging Stroller Without Knowing These 7 Key Points!

By Ashley Coe

For those active moms and dads out there, there are athletic double stroller options for those who like to get in a brisk walk or active jog with their twins or similarly-aged kids. This article will explore a few of the jogging stroller options.

Most importantly, here are 7 key areas that you want to be sure to focus on when considering all your options:

Safety

carry options for accessories and supplies

colors

sturdiness

weight (for putting it in and out of the car)

swivel ability (turning radius is nice and tight)

comfort for you and babies

Let’s start by looking at a couple of the many stroller options to see how they stack up with what we’ve written:

InSTEP has a Suburban Safari Stroller that is functional, but perhaps not the best looking option out on the market. It has the single-wheel front wheel (also known as a swivel wheel, common in a jogging double stroller). The wheels are air-filled. It offers an under seat cargo basket. This is a pretty good package and can typically be found for under $200.

Instep Suburban Safari Double Jogging Stroller

safety: adequate

carry options: adequate, not extensive

colors: ten available, good

sturdiness: average for the price point

weight: 34 lbs is in the midrange of weight (30-40+ lbs)

swivel ability: average to good turning

comfort: adequate, not many standard options but you can always add on with blankets and pads.

BOB is another popular single stroller name. One of the popular models is the Revolution Duallie Double model. This also has the larger air-pumped wheels. The ability to lock the front wheel or let it swivel is also a big selling point here. Very convenient. The BOB double stroller also has a large amount of really useful optional accessories. A large handlebar console can hold beverages and cups. A Car Seat Adapter can give you a seat-to-stroller attachment. A Sun, Wind and Insect Protector reduce heat and glare in addition to reducing UVA and UVB rays by up to 65%. And an optional diaper bag clips directly to the stroller as well.

Some of these strollers have air-filled tires while others are plastic. If you come across a thorn and poof, there goes the air out of your double stroller front tire, that could make for a long walk back home. A good quality bike shop will be able to fill your stroller’s air tires with some goop or thick liquid that seals any punctures and will keep that air tire right on rolling. All aboard the athletic and in-shape family strolls!

safety: good

carry options: above average with handlebar console plus basket and options, very versatile but higher price point at roughly $550

colors: wide variety, good

sturdiness: solid, made for active use, above average

weight: 32 lbs, lighter than many double strollers

swivel ability: versatile again as front wheel can switch from pivot to locked. very maneuverable.

comfort: shock absorbers decrease bumps for the riders.

By Yan Gai (New York, NY USA)

We looked at many jogging strollers, even we don’t jog, but the jogging strollers all have seats too reclined. This one isn’t perfectly verticle but is good enough. We don’t carry a diaper bag anymore because the side pockets are good enough to put a few diapers and wipes (and keys, cereal bars). Before we bought it, we were worried that the ipod function may bring too many wires or attachment (we don’t want to play music). But it’s all built in inside a small box and doesn’t bother us at all.

I ordered the Jeep Stroller for my grandson. He is one year old and loves it. It was a little hard to put together – but as my husband says nothing we have bought for him has come assembled!
The outlet for the MP3 player is neat. He loves the horn and engine sounds. I would recommend this stroller to anyone looking a not your standard stroller.
