Multi-child strollers

Multi-child Strollers are built for transporting twins, triplets (two or three children of similar ages) and even quadruplets and quintuplets. These strollers are available in standard stroller, umbrella stroller and jogging stroller types.

You must heard about the 6 month old baby who miraculously survived being hit by a train after his stroller rolled off the platform in Melbourne, Australia on October 15, 2009.

The baby’s mother was temporarily distracted by an oncoming train as she waited on an elevated train platform. Her baby son’s stroller rolled off the platform and onto the tracks just as the train ran over it. This video shows the mother desperately reaching for her baby and nearly being hit by the train herself. She then screams hysterically as onlookers walk away in shock.

It’s make us shock and aware about baby stroller safety. Baby Stroller Safety is very, very, very important! Don’t make it easy! To avoid the incident, I only can suggest to make sure to check the brakes holding when applied and working properly.

And don’t leave your child unattended in a stroller. This doesn’t mean you have to be no more than a foot away at all times. Just be sure that either you or another responsible adult (not child) is within easy reach at all times.

For those active moms and dads out there, there are athletic double stroller options for those who like to get in a brisk walk or active jog with their twins or similarly-aged kids. This article will explore a few of the jogging stroller options.

Most importantly, here are 7 key areas that you want to be sure to focus on when considering all your options:

A good quality bike shop will be able to fill your stroller’s air tires with some goop or thick liquid that seals any punctures and will keep that air tire right on rolling. We looked at many jogging strollers, even we don’t jog, but the jogging strollers all have seats too reclined. This one isn’t perfectly verticle but is good enough. We don’t carry a diaper bag anymore because the side pockets are good enough to put a few diapers and wipes (and keys, cereal bars). Before we bought it, we were worried that the ipod function may bring too many wires or attachment (we don’t want to play music). But it’s all built in inside a small box and doesn’t bother us at all.

I ordered the Jeep Stroller for my grandson. He is one year old and loves it. It was a little hard to put together – but as my husband says nothing we have bought for him has come assembled!
The outlet for the MP3 player is neat. He loves the horn and engine sounds. I would recommend this stroller to anyone looking a not your standard stroller.

Reebok Jogging Stroller

Reebok Joging Stroller has a rear suspension system that provides a comfortable ride for your child while being easy to push over a variety of terrains. The 16″ wheels are suitable for grass, sand, and gravel as well as paved surfaces. If you are serious about your jogging you should insist on a stroller with at least 16″ wheels, 12″ is only good for smooth surfaces.

It should be remembered, though, that babies under the age of 6 months should not be taken jogging, they don’t have the muscle control to properly support their heads and the back and forth movement when running could be harmful.

The Reebok jogging stroller, however, could be used as a regular stroller for the first 6 months after your baby is born and then when she is ready you can start taking her with you on your jogs.

This jogger has a fleece-lined boot that keeps your child warm and protected from cold drafts. Other handy features are the cell phone pocket, the adjustable canopy, and the one-hand folding mechanism.

When fully folded the Reebok jogging stroller takes up remarkably little space. The wheels are attached with a quick-release mechanism so taking the stroller completely down is a snap.

The Reebok stroller has been designed so that your child sits well back from the front wheel. This is safer than allowing the feet to come near the front wheel and distributes the weight more evenly for more stability.

We are quite impressed with this stroller. Care has to be taken when assembling that the front wheel is properly aligned otherwise it may pull to one side, but otherwise this is a good choice in a moderate priced jogging stroller.

When you purchase a stroller, there are a few things that come with it, such as the covered hood to help keep the sun out of the babies eyes and the basket underneath to carry packages or the diaper bag, but there are other stroller accessories you can purchase separately to make your baby’s stroller the best it can be.

Stroller Toys

Other stroller accessories include something for the baby to play with. This can be an arch of hanging toys that you attach on either side of the stroller so the toys hang down over the stroller the baby while they are lying down, and they can play with them sitting up as well.

Strollers, depending on the brand and manufacturer, frequently have a small tray for the baby, but what about the parents? You can purchase a tray that snaps onto the back of the stroller, near the top where you push the stroller, so that you can put your cups (usually two), keys, and other small items. Other stroller accessories also include a odometer for jogging strollers so you know how far you have jogged with your child. That accessory can clip on to the handle and could also be used on a regular stroller for measuring your walks.

A mesh bag or thin ‘stroller backpack’ that straps onto the back of the stroller is another type of stroller accessory you can purchase to help with storage when you take long trips with the baby and stroller. Long days at the amusement park require clothing changes and perhaps a swimsuit, and these things can be kept in the mesh bag or ‘stroller backpack’ that attaches to the back of the stroller, leaving more room for diapers in the diaper bag or tote.

Other stroller accessories might include a ‘jump’ seat for a sibling to ride along or stand at the back of the stroller. These would have to be securely mounted to the frame of the stroller, but it’s worth the effort to have them ride along on long trips such as at the mall or the amusement park.

A carrier or car seats are also included in other stroller accessories. There are adaptors that you can purchase to add a car seat or carrier to the stroller, especially for infants, so you don’t have to take them out of one item and put them into another, such as taking them out of the car seat and putting them into the stroller. When you first purchase a stroller, look to make sure that you can adapt to a car seat or carrier, it’s worth the extra money for one of these types.

Other stroller accessories would include bumper pads and blankets for the stroller if you have a newborn or a smaller infant and you are using the stroller with all the sides up, more like a ‘buggy’ or pram than a seated stroller. Just as with their crib, you want to protect them from bumps when walking around on uneven pavement or accidently knocking into something or someone at a crowded mall.

It’s easy to fall in love with a Zooper Tango stroller. It is designed to hold 40 pounds is each seat, and is intended for infants as well as toddlers.

Since the Zooper double stroller is part of the Everyday collection, it is designed for convenience in the real world. The features are aimed at parents walking their children on uneven sidewalks, grass, and through shopping malls. To handle these varying terrains, the front wheels swivel but easily lock into place by a switch located conveniently on the handlebar.

The seats can turn forward or rear facing and the seat reclines all the way back. The handlebar on this Zooper jogging stroller adjust to the height of the parent and also control the swivel front wheels, so they can be locked into place quickly if necessary.

If you are fortunate to have a large budget to spend on a top of the line jogging stroller or double stroller, then you want every feature, convenience, and comfort you can get for your cash. Why don’t we get started right away in exploring some of the top quality choices?

The Baby Jogger City Elite retails for around $650. Individual reclining seats are a big selling point on this items. I have taken a look at these seats and they are very well made. The canopies are also individually operated.

And naturally for a stroller of this quality, you would expect the turning radius, the smooth ride and the feel of the handles to be cushiony, supportive and responsive. That is indeed the case. The folding mechanism on The Baby Jogger City Elite is intuitive and works smoothly. The adjustable handle bar, a feature in an increasing number of quality stroller choices, allows the user to stand erect and not assume a hunched posture to reach the handles.

And while this
stroller looks a bit intimidating in its stature, it does indeed fit through typical doorway sizes.

Is it a bit heavy? Yes. But I’ve lifted this weight with strollers. It’s not a problem to lift I’d say if you’re in decent shape. Keep in mind that the tires are twelve inches. This is very good for gravel and dirt road walks to keep traction.

Finally, if all of these features aren’t getting the job done, there are outside vendors which provide compatible accessories for the Baby Jogger. For starters, there is the traditional car seat adapter. The stroller does come with a six pocket console, but if that is still becoming full, you can purchase additional pouches and bags that clip and attach to the unit.

The Baby Jogger City Elite is without doubt one of the best double stroller selections currently available to parents. It provides a safe, secure ride for you the control center driver and your beloved occupants. Take a look at the cost and benefits associated with this piece and make the decision if the extra features, comfort and future options that you may need will be worth it.
