Go shopping or walking around park with our baby in stroller is fun time. But usually, when we put the baby in the stroller for long periods, they will get bored soon and start to whimper. For this reason, we need some stroller accessory to make our baby busy and happy in their baby stroller.

Every baby has curious individuals’ willing to learn and often require new, exciting and interesting equipment to keep them busy. Before you looking for stroller accessories or baby stroller toys to keep your baby busy and happy in the stroller, you may read these important tips below:

Colors and Texture – Babies love something bright, interesting and eye catching materials. Babies also love to learn

Stroller/Carseat Accesory - Tiny Love Sunny Stroll Arch in Yellow

something. So, you have to find some toys that will make your baby learning with pleasure. Also, give them something that has texture to touch.

Sounds and Lights – Stroller accessory that send out sounds and lights will be more charming and interesting to a baby. These toys usually have a tendency to hold a baby’s attention for longer.

Attachable – You can help the baby to keep their intentionally on their toys that attach to the stroller in some way. You need to attach the toys as a stroller accessory, so your baby easy to reach, touch and play it but not easy to fall on the floor while you busy to shopping.

Action-Reaction – A baby will do something to the toys and will be more engaging than do nothing when he has a stroller accessory that entertaining. He will easily get bored of a toy if there is nothing interactive on it. If possible, to provide your baby for longer lasting entertainment, stroller accessory must have some sort of activity component. For example, you can choose the toys with lots of buttons to press, a steering wheel to spin, cloth books or board books with pages to turn and so on.

Suitable for Their Ages – Find something that suitable for the ages of babies. For very young babies, a musical mobile attach on the stroller might be enough to entertain them until they fall asleep. For older babies will be love to learning an interactive toys and the like. Also look the suitable accessory for baby boy or girl.

Variety – It is a great idea to keep several toys or stroller accessories hidden in the baby bag, if you will be shopping for long periods. So, as soon as baby gets bored with the current toy, you can switch it with another one.

Safety - Keep all small part of stroller accessories away from the baby. Finally, even your baby is busy with his/her toys; don’t leave your baby more than a foot away – unattended in a stroller.

Inglesina Baby Stroller – the Zippy 2009 Review

By Yenie Swandari

The Inglesina Zippy stroller should be the first in your list if you are looking for a lightweight stroller and fully functional, that is easy to transport while on the move. For most busy parents it will be the best pick from today’s market because of the unique features offered on this Inglesina Baby Stroller.

Inglesina Zippy Stroller

This Inglesina Baby stroller type is the ideal stroller to ease the everyday life of parents: extremely convenient to open and fold with the exclusive one-hand-folding-system, it is equipped with ergonomic handles and pivoting wheels for an easier handling.

The Inglesina Zippy baby stroller have structure and the padding that are designed right to support perfectly the back and assure the maximum well-being of the baby 6-36 months old, both when lying and when seated.

They focus on only the best features and every feature included is fully functional and serves a useful function. Some of these features are actually accessories that other stroller manufacturers charge extra for, such as a rain cover, accessible cup holder for the parent, and a nice sized snack tray.

The most impressive features on the Zippy from Inglesina Baby stroller that other brands don’t have it is the canopy fully protects the baby by pulling all the way down past the snack tray for complete protection from any outside elements that may be encountered. And the leg cover completes this protection, can easily be folded up when not needed.

The front wheels of this Inglesina baby stroller have a swivel design, but can be locked into place to sturdy the frame when going through less stable terrain. It is super-compact baby stroller with its 101 cm of height in fold position. It also includes a carry handle for easy carrying while folded down and a footplate on the back where older children can stand and ride along.

Zippy is ideal for all the four seasons, because it is equipped with all standard supplied accessories (umbrella, winter sleeping-bag and sun canopy) with the exclusive “Easy Clip” system that allows attaching the Zippy body and car seat Huggy directly, transforming itself into Zippy System. Sorry to say, Inglesina Zippy stroller will only work with Inglesina Huggy car seat and Graco car seats. But this will likely not be a problem for most parents who already use Graco seats anyway.

The Inglesina Zippy Baby Stroller is a comfortable stroller and a practical and modular system, which is particularly suitable for parents who need a compact solution that rich in details, fabrics and accessories.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

1847 stroller, from the John Leech Archives

The idea of a baby stroller first came into being with a man named William Kent. He was a garden architect in England who had become well known for his work. In 1733, the Duke of Devonshire asked Kent to build a means of transportation that would carry his children. Kent obliged by constructing a shell shaped basket on wheels that the children could sit in. This was richly decorated and meant to be pulled by a goat or small pony. Kent’s idea caught on and soon other royal family members owned similar contraptions.

In 1840, the baby carriage became extremely popular. Queen Victoria bought three carriages from Hitchings Baby Store.

The carriages of those days were built of wood or wicker and held together by expensive brass joints. These sometimes became heavily ornamented works of art. Models were also named after royalty, Princess and Duchess being popular names, as well as Balmoral and Windsor.

Later developments

In June 1889, William Richardson patented his idea of the first reversible stroller. The bassinet was designed so it could face out or in towards the parent. He also made structural changes to the carriage. Until then the axis did not allow each wheel to move separately, Richardson’s design allowed this which increased maneuverability of the carriages.

As the 1920s began modern baby carriages were now available to all families. They were also becoming safer as new features like larger wheels, brakes, deeper prams, and lower, sturdier frames began to appear.

In 1965, Owen Maclaren, an aeronautical engineer, worked on complaints his daughter made about traveling from England to America with her heavy pram. Using his knowledge of aeroplanes, Maclaren designed a stroller with an aluminum frame and created the first true umbrella stroller. He then went on to found Maclaren which manufactured and sold his new design. The design took off and soon “strollers” were easier to transport and used everywhere.

Since the 1980s, the stroller industry has developed with new features, safer construction and more accessories.
